Originally from Uvalde, Texas, Mr. White is a fourth generation South Texas attorney. Licensed in Texas, New Mexico and California, Stuart White’s nationwide practice is entirely contingency fee based and consists of a wide variety of catastrophic personal injury and death cases, including a special emphasis on 18-wheeler, bus and company vehicle wreck cases. He is a frequently asked to lecture and present to others on how to represent victims of heavy truck wrecks in New Mexico and Texas. In addition, Mr. White is the author of the New Mexico Truck Crash Law Overview for the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group.
Mr. White also handles cases involving product defects, refinery and workplace accidents, negligence and premises liability, commercial and business litigation, and oil and gas litigation.
He received a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, Mr. White was a member of the Silver Spurs, an honorary service organization. He also studied at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. Mr. White attended Baylor Law School, where he graduated with honors. At Baylor Law School, he served as Senior Executive Editor of Baylor Law Review. An article Mr. White wrote, Guitar Holding: A Judicial Rewrite of Chapter 36 the Texas Water Code?, was published in Baylor Law Review. The American Agricultural Law Association selected this article as the best student-written article concerning an agricultural issue in the country for that year.
After law school, Mr. White had the honor of clerking for one year for the Honorable Andrew S. Hanen, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. While clerking, he gained invaluable experience in legal writing and research, as well as the opportunity to observe courtroom activities on a daily basis and learn from a federal trial judge.
